Boca Raton mole control

We are experts in mole control and are not your typical Boca Raton, Florida pest control or exterminator company. First, we do not use poisons or the majority of repellents, since they do not work. Moles are difficult to remove and can only really be completely removed from your yard with mole traps, a process we have practiced and perfected over the years. In addition, if a mother mole has babies, we will make sure to remove her pups by hand before dealing with the mother mole. We are not a typical Boca Raton mole exterminator company. We completely solve your mole problem by taking these steps:

  • Inspect the entire property grounds - lawn, yard, garden, etc.
  • Set several pro traps in mole tunnels - the correct and safe way!
  • Remove all moles as they are caught and monitor for activity
  • Once there is no more activity and no more moles caught, we're done
  • When needed, fill in tunnels and seal with underground fencing

What Prices Do We Charge?

Every wildlife situation is different: How many moles? Size of lawn? Do you need trapping, prevention, repairs? Call us and we can give pricing for your specific situation.

Boca Raton mole pest control animal tip: What are the common problems that moles cause?

People seem divided when it comes to the danger moles cause to humans. While some argue that they are good enhancers of the soil and the ecology, many believe that they pose nothing but a nuisance to human settlements.

However, whichever way we choose to judge these long-clawed, furry little insectivores, we can agree that their actions are usually problematic to humans.

How do you know moles are around?

Moles are little animals that feed on insects, worms, and grubs. Their food search leads them to burrow and dig up holes underground. The entrances/exits of these holes are marked by the huge piles of earth or mounds. These burrows are scattered, unsightly, and destructive to anything along its path.

Problems they cause

Most of the problems they cause are from their foraging for food. The common issues include;

Damage to trees and plants

If you have invested time and energy in maintaining your lawn, then it will be sad to see it collapse at the nefarious acts of these creatures. Their tunneling, consistency, and ruthlessness in getting their food often cause them to damage the roots, stems of trees, fruit plants, vegetables, and more.

Furthermore, trying to rid these animals with chemicals/pesticides might do more harm to your plants and pets.

Danger to pets and humans

Moles, like many other wild animals, are usually infected with rabies. A mole attack on your unsuspecting pup or cat can leave them seriously ill. Even though it is highly unlikely, moles can attack humans, especially when cornered or feeling aggressive.

If you or your pets get bitten by a mole, you should see a vet/clinic.

Bring in parasites

Almost all wild animals (with moles high on the list) can bring secondary pests into the home. Parasites like fleas, ticks, lice, bugs, and others usually rely on larger animals (pests) to determine their new hosts.

These parasites can bring lots of other diseases and conditions as well as problems to homeowners.

Germs and illnesses

Moles can carry bacteria and transfer them if they come in contact with human equipment. After contact with trashcans, compost fields, and dumps, the germs are spread to any area of the home they enter.

They are insufferable

Unlike bigger animals like squirrels, raccoons, etc., it is harder to get rid of moles. If you chase them from an area, you only open up other areas for them to explore.
