Mesquite mole control

We are experts in mole control and are not your typical Mesquite, Texas pest control or exterminator company. First, we do not use poisons or the majority of repellents, since they do not work. Moles are difficult to remove and can only really be completely removed from your yard with mole traps, a process we have practiced and perfected over the years. In addition, if a mother mole has babies, we will make sure to remove her pups by hand before dealing with the mother mole. We are not a typical Mesquite mole exterminator company. We completely solve your mole problem by taking these steps:

  • Inspect the entire property grounds - lawn, yard, garden, etc.
  • Set several pro traps in mole tunnels - the correct and safe way!
  • Remove all moles as they are caught and monitor for activity
  • Once there is no more activity and no more moles caught, we're done
  • When needed, fill in tunnels and seal with underground fencing

Mesquite mole pest control animal tip: What do moles eat

Many pests invade yards and lawns, causing different levels of damages, but none does this better than moles. These small pests are insectivorous, which means they only feed on tiny insects and grubs. They are usually confused with other animals like voles and mice, due to their sneaky habit. But if you get a clear chance to see them crawl out of their tunnels, you notice their differences. They are long, have protruding snouts that measure about an inch, oversized paddle-like front feet, and dark grey fur.

Moles spend most of their time underground inside their tunnels looking for food. But you will notice their activities underneath the ground at the surface of your lawn. The damages they cause are not a result of their plant-eating habits. Rather, these damages are as a result of their digging activities while looking for what to eat.

Moles feed mainly on tiny insects. As a result of this, their favorite meal includes spiders, earthworms, snails, grubs, and other small insects. They don't in any way feed on plants or grasses to keep up with their one-pound body weight daily needs. Their nutrition all comes from insects.

The most obvious sign that you notice when moles are on your property is the presence of mole mounds on the surface of your lawn. They create this while creating nesting burrows and tunnels that will lead them to a food source. These tunnels underneath the ground are usually in a zigzag manner and they are the cause of the damaged roots of plants and grasses which eventually lead to the death of the plants.

Once the food in an existing tunnel gets exhausted, the moles immediately start building another tunnel away from the initial one, therefore extending the damages to other parts of your lawn or garden. This clearly shows why it is so important for you to get them removed from your lawn or garden before the damage done gets to a stage where you won't be able to control it.

There are several ways to get these moles removed. You can either hire a wildlife control professional to help you out or you can consider other mole removal means which could either be the use of a mole trap, castor oil repellent, or any other removal methods. But while doing this, you need to make sure you get rid of anything that could be responsible for attracting moles to your lawn.
