North Dallas mole control

We are experts in mole control and are not your typical North Dallas, Texas pest control or exterminator company. First, we do not use poisons or the majority of repellents, since they do not work. Moles are difficult to remove and can only really be completely removed from your yard with mole traps, a process we have practiced and perfected over the years. In addition, if a mother mole has babies, we will make sure to remove her pups by hand before dealing with the mother mole. We are not a typical North Dallas mole exterminator company. We completely solve your mole problem by taking these steps:

  • Inspect the entire property grounds - lawn, yard, garden, etc.
  • Set several pro traps in mole tunnels - the correct and safe way!
  • Remove all moles as they are caught and monitor for activity
  • Once there is no more activity and no more moles caught, we're done
  • When needed, fill in tunnels and seal with underground fencing

What Prices Do We Charge?

North Dallas mole pest control animal tip: Mole Prevention Tips: How to Keep Moles Away

You know moles - those 13-inch mammals covered in black fur that have really strong forepaws and dig under your property. And while the moles aren't looking to directly damage your property (since they don't eat plant roots), they can still cause quite a bit of damage, so it's important to safeguard your property against them.

So what can you do, as a property owner, to keep moles safely away?

Use an underground fence.

Fences are an excellent way to keep the large majority of predators at bay, and that includes moles. Underground fences are available for precisely this purpose. These specially designed fences are made from hardware cloth (since the moles can't dig through that). You can dig in the fence around your property as a whole, or specifically around your vegetable patch or garden.

In general, it's recommended that you dig your fence at least 24 inches down into the earth, otherwise you run the risk of the mole digging under it. In height, the fence should measure about 6 inches and should have an angular base (of 90 degrees or so, to prevent the mammal from climbing it).

Trust in natural repellents.

Just like there are some scents that humans find hard to bear, there are those considered repellent to moles. Garlic, for example, would be an excellent thing to plant in your garden, as it's irritating to moles, and thus might deter them from approaching. Garlic is also unpleasant to other intruding species, so you really can't go wrong with this one.

Alternatively, chocolate lilies are also ranked among the scents least liked by moles, so you might also include that in your yard, in your effort to deter moles.

Get a pet.

While most dogs aren't natural predators that will chase to kill, their natural curiosity will automatically have them going after the mole. And given the considerable difference in size, this is risky for the mole, thus prompting it to move out.

Similarly, cats are known to toy with intruders, and will undoubtedly chase the mole out. Pets can also be a good way of keeping other pests at bay.

Collapse their tunnels.

Traditionally, one would find the mole mound and, using a shovel or pitchfork, collapse the tunnel underneath. Eventually, this prompts the mole to move out, if they keep getting trapped in their own collapsed tunnels.
